Heute, Mittwoch, 24. September, ist der inzwischen deutschlandweit in relevanten Verkehrskreisen bekannte TDS Tag der Sauna. (Abgeändertes) Motto 2025: „SAUNA. Dein/Der Weg zu innerer Ruhe!“
Aktuell 40 (31) Mitgliedsbetriebe im DSB Deutschen Sauna-Bund haben auf der special interest Website ihre Teilnahme „offiziell“ zugesagt, unter anderem alle neun Standorte der monte mare Gruppe. Auf FB wurden TDS Betriebe per Logo-Slide genannt, darunter zusätzlich auch die Loma Sauna Osnabrück, die auf der Website aber nicht erwähnt wird. Insofern handelt es sich nur um eine Circa-Angabe teilnehmender Betriebe.
Gut zwei Dutzend TDS (Groß-) Anlagen führen das Qualitätszeichen SaunaPremium des DSB. zwei das Qualitätszeichen SaunaSelection. Circa ein Dutzend TDS Mitmach-Betriebe 2025 ist dem DSB Qualitätssystem nicht angeschlossen.
Das TDS Vorjahresniveau wurde knapp erreicht. Weniger als die Hälte der teilnehmenden Betriebe, ca. 15 von ca. knapp 40 aus dem Jahr 2024, sind wieder „offiziell“ dabei, darunter die monte mare Unternehmensgruppe.
Wie im Vorjahr haben die meisten offiziellen „Mitmach-Betriebe“ ihren Standort in Baden-Württemberg und Nordrhein-Westfalen. Aber auch Bayern, Rheinland-Pfalz und Hessen sind diesmal gut vertreten. Alle anderen Bundesländer rangieren unter „ferner liefen“. Es gibt ein deutlich erkennbares Süd-, West-, Nord- Ost-Gefälle beim TDS.

Die Dimension des TDS ist allerdings weitaus größer: Zahlreiche weitere Anlagen nutzen den TDS für auch anders thematisierte Aktionen. Damit verbunden ist oft eine lokal-regionale Berichterstattung in den Medien.

Update, 16. Jul: Inzwischen sind die ersten drei Mitmach-Betriebe auf der TDS webpage gelistet: Solemar Bad Dürrheim (Baden-Württemberg), HolstenTherme Kaltenkirchen (Schleswig-Holstein), Wester-Therme Bad Karlshafen (Niedersachsen).
Alle drei Anlagen waren auch 2024 dabei.
Update, 8. Jul: Im internen Mitgliederbereich des DSB Deutschen Sauna-Bundes steht jetzt der angekündigte 34-seitige Leitfaden für den TDS Tag der Sauna am 24. September, ein Mittwoch, zur Verfügung. Auf der DSB Webpage findet sich auch eine frei verfügbare PR-Promotion für den bundesweiten Aktionstag, ebenso ein kurzes Intro auf FB: „Tag der Sauna Jahresmotto 2025: Innere Ruhe durch Saunabesuche“.
In der ebenfalls veröffentlichten, sehr allgemein gehaltenen Pressemeldung wird das Motto „personalisiert“: SAUNA. Dein Weg zu innerer Ruhe. Weiter wird von 2.000 öffentlichen Saunaanlagen und jährlich 16 Millionen Saunabesuchern in Deutschland berichtet. Wie valide und aktuell diese Angaben sind, lässt sich nicht überprüfen.
Die Anmeldephase für Mitgliedsbetriebe, die offiziell dabei sein wollen, von ursprünglich Juni auf Juli vordatiert.

Update, 24. Jun: In einem Vierteljahr, 24. September, ist der bundesweite TDS Tag der Sauna. Das Motto diesmal: „SAUNA. Der Weg zu innerer Ruhe“. Auf der special interest Webpage gibt es keine aktuellen Informationen dazu, weder zum Leitfaden noch zu den Betrieben, die teilnehmen.

Update 28 Jan: Mitgliedsbetriebe im DSB Deutschen Sauna-Bund können sich ab Juni für den diesjährigen TDS Tag der Sauna anmelden. Dieser ist am Mittwoch, den 24. September. Das Motto 2025: „SAUNA. Der Weg zu innerer Ruhe!“ Es geht dabei um „Entspannung und Erholung“ als zwei der Hauptmotive für das Saunabaden.
